Description
Aerangis jacksonii
Native to Uganda, these are not often seen in cultivation. We grow most of our Aerangis on plaques and cover the root systems with a variety of media; jacksonii is no exception. Our plants seem to like cork plaques with a modest amount of coconut fiber covering the majority of the root system and reward us with regular growth and annual flowers. We have found that Aergs. jacksonii does not require a dormancy, but rather a “rest” period as growth of the root system slows but seem to stop growing. Our humidity is constantly high due to greenhouse conditions.
The blooming-sized, multiple-growth plant shown in Brenda’s hand is representative of what you’ll receive.
