Description
Trichoceros antennifer
Isn’t this a great bug mimic? Its flowers simulate the female flies of the genus Paragymnomma…and well, I’ll let your imagination take it from there. This interesting little species is a South American native (Ecuador to Bolivia). They’re cute small plants that prefer cool temperatures and can be grown potted or on plaques. The flowers open in succession on a tall, thin spike.
