Description
Aerangis Punctata
Native to Madagascar, its common name is “The Dotted Aerangis” due to the spots on both its leaves and roots. These verrucose or warty qualities make them among the most interesting of all orchid roots! A true miniature, a mature plant has a leaf span of 2″. Though it is often stated that these plants bear a single flower, our clone ‘Barbara’ has had SEVEN per spike. The first blooming may produce just one, but as the plant matures, they often produce multiple flowers on multiple spikes. This is a true jewel of the orchid family. The NBS mounted plant shown in Brenda’s hand is representative of what you’ll receive.
