Description
Vanda nana
Vanda nana is a charming miniature orchid species native to Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Formerly known as Ascocentropsis pusilla and Ascocentrum pusillum, all three names refer to the same species. We mention the synonyms to help collectors avoid purchasing duplicate plants under different names.
This compact species produces attractive pink flowers on miniature plants that fit easily into even the most space-limited orchid collections. We have consistently grown our plants mounted on cork rather than potted, and they have performed exceptionally well. Vanda nana prefers intermediate to warm temperatures and bright light with protection from direct sun. Its small size, attractive blooms, and straightforward culture make it a rewarding species for collectors of miniature orchids and former Ascocentrum relatives.
We’re selling blooming-size plants mounted on cork.
