Vandopsis really means “Vanda-like” because of the similarity of the plant (and growing requirements) to a Vanda. They can grow to be quite large, but are worth the space because of both the beauty of their flowers and their longevity! The flowers are a solid hot pink color on the back, and yellow with brick-red spotting on the fronts. They’re fragrant, and they last like a Phalaenopsis (for months). Native to New Guinea.
The potted seedling shown in Brenda’s hand is typical of what you’ll receive.
