Description

Rhipidoglossum rutilum

Though Rhipidoglossum rutilum is this plants “accepted name”, it’s more commonly known by its former name of Diaphananthe rutila. Native to tropical Africa, we’ve read of them as growing in “large untidy masses”. Grow in intermediate to warm temperatures, in lower light. The plants grow quite long and branch easily but don’t have to be large to bloom. Each spike produces LOTS of cute little flowers.

The bareroot, blooming-size division shown in Brenda’s hand is typical of what you’ll receive.
