Description

Nageliella purpurea

An interesting and unusual species native to Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Nageliella purpurea produces clusters of vivid pink/purple flowers at the ends of long thin spikes. These bloom year after year on the same flower spikes (even though some look dead…) so DON’T cut them off!!! The foliage is BEAUTIFUL— it is dark green with white spots. We grow ours on cork plaques, but they can also be grown potted.
