Description
Esmeralda clarkei ‘Big Sky Tiger’ x self
Esmeralda clarkei, Arachnanthe clarkei, Arachnis clarkei and Vanda clarkei – whatever you call it, it is a BEAUTY!!! It grows like a sturdy vine -or- a wimpy Vanda which will give some idea of care.We grow ours amidst cattleyas in bright light but close to the edge of the greenhouse where it gets significantly cooler at night. The flowers are fragrant and long-lasting.
We started with a young plant and are now selling seedlings mounted on cork; from a selfing of the plant in the flower photo.
It will take a few years to reach maturity but, trust me, it’s worth the wait.
