Dendrobium linguaeforme

This is an Australian species sometimes called Dockrillia linguaeforme. Its common names are “The Button Orchid” and “The Tongue Orchid”. A very special miniature creeping epiphyte with fleshy leaves, it can quickly cover whatever it is planted on, forming a dense mat. It blooms in the fall and winter. Its delicate looking white blossoms are fragrant.
