Description

Angraecum mahavavense

This is a lovely small orchid from Madagascar that we find brings a smile to the face of anyone who sees it in bloom. A blooming plant is only 5-7″ across and older plants can produce several inflorescenses, each with three to five crystalline white flowers. We can’t quite explain it, but honestly think most orchid growers understand that feeling of having an orchid you just enjoy looking at. It is extremely uncommon to find for sale; short of importing it from Madagascar. These are from our breeding program. Click here for culture information  and more about this species.

The plants shown in Brenda’s hands are representative of what you’ll receive. Choose between a blooming-size plant in a pot or a blooming-size mounted plant.
