Native to Madagascar. The “Queen of Angraecoids” magdalenae is fragrant both day and night, though a bit more so at night. Perfume should be made from these flowers (perhaps it is, though affordable?

A large plant need never exceed a 6″ pot. Grow alongside Phalaenopsis, but allow just a bit more light, and you will be graced both summer and winter with several blooms of substance that last an incredibly long time.
