Description
Dendrobium striolatum
You don’t find this Dendrobium available very often; probably because it’s a “collectors orchid”. We grow it mainly for the unique upright terete-type growth and the way it covers a plaque. They’re also neat looking in pots (not all plants can be grown well both ways!) This Dendrobium is as cool out of bloom as it is in bloom! The flowers are fairly small—but impressive once you have a nice specimen established. And yes, they’re upside down! If you like the unusual then this is a must- have species for the species nut!
The blooming-size, bareroot division shown in Brenda’s hand is representative of what you’ll receive. You can then pot or mount it to best suit your growing environment!
