Description
Lockhartia oerstedii
This orchid has such great and interesting foliage, some people grow it just for its leaves. In nature, it is found in Mexico, Panama and Columbia. It can grow in cool to warm conditions, but needs to be in a shaded location. The small flowers are really cute and fairly long lasting; they re-bloom from the same little inflorescent repeatedly. We have our plants growing in pots, mounted on tree fern and “just hanging around” on the screens.
The potted and mounted blooming-sized divisions shown in Brenda’s hands are representative of what you’ll receive.
