Esmeralda clarkei ‘Big Sky Tiger’ x self
Even though Esmeralda is the “accepted” name, this plant is better known by its old names of Arachnanthe clarkei and Arachnis clarkei – it’s even been known as a Vanda (which will give some idea of care). Whatever you call it, it is a BEAUTY!!! It grows like a sturdy vine -or- a wimpy Vanda if you get the idea. We grow ours amidst cattleyas in bright light but close to the edge of the greenhouse where it gets significantly cooler at night. The flowers are fragrant and long lasting.
The large seedling shown in in Brenda’s hand is representative of what you’ll receive.
