Description

Eriopsis biloba ‘Botanica’s Beauty’

If we had a dollar for every one of these that died, we could retire. The main problem began with plants that were imported; they’d sat in a box for a week or two after being fumigated with who knows what to pass customs inspection, after being ripped off a mount somewhere in the tropics and laid in a pile on a bench for days. The plants are not that difficult to grow IF you get one that is established. Our plants went through the treatment described above and we managed to save a few. They enjoy moderately bright light, intermediate temperatures, good humidity and air movement. Eriopsis biloba is a spectacular species that produces racemes of striking flowers.
