Description

Angraecum acutipetalum

These are endemic to Madagascar where they grow in mossy forests and on lichen-covered trees; flowering between September and January. As we write this in February (in Montana) ours are in bloom. They are lovely small plants that are attractive even out of bloom. They have tiny flowers that are translucent white/green. Almost every inflorescence on our large plants has four flowers. I can’t detect a fragrance, but I don’t doubt they have one. We’re selling divisions of plants legally imported from Madagascar. These are an excellent addition to a species-lover’s collection.
