Chiloschista viridiflava
Chiloschistas are likely the hardiest and most free blooming of the leafless orchids. They do occasionally sport a tiny leaf — especially when young. The “tangle” of roots produce arching flower spikes covered with small (1/2") flowers. We made notes about a couple of our plants, “now THAT’S what chocolate smells like!!!” so if you like fragrant orchids, this is a good one. This is one of the more unusual plants you can have to grace your orchid collection.
