Paphiopedilum malipoense ‘Vashka’
     What amazed us about this flower when we first bloomed it, is the way the spots that are on the INSIDE of the big pouch can be seen from the outside. There’s an almost translucent quality to it! They are really long lasting and the flowers have been on the tallest straightest spikes. Even out of bloom, these Chinese natives have beautiful mottled foliage (both on the top and underneath). These are beauties that are quite easy to grow and bloom.
