Meiracyllium
trinasutum
Also
called Meiracyllium wendlandii (though trinasutum is considered the correct
name), this is a dwarf, creeping species native to Mexico and Guatemala.
It can quickly cover whatever it is growing on, forming an interesting,
dense mat. Its bright pink flowers are ½ to 3/4" across. And
IT'S FRAGRANT!!! As small as the flowers are, they put out a delightful
spice-like fragrance (like cloves).
