Dendrobium kingianum ‘Merlin’
     Known as the “pink rock lily”, kingianum is a staple in any good orchid collection. They are easy to grow, and when in bloom have a delightful fragrance. They require a short dormancy to bloom, and commonly do so in the spring. We have a customer who “tricks” his plants into blooming (by giving them a cool rest/dormancy out-of-season) so he can have a plant in bloom anytime of the year...he so enjoys their fragrance.
