Bulbophyllum
gracillimum
These small
bulbophyllums have a rather wide range of native habitat - Thailand to
Indonesia, New Guinea, Fiji, Australia and beyond. Weve always grown
ours potted [because thats how it was when we got it and it has
always done well] but Ive read that they grow beautifully mounted.
Either way, they produce a thin, wire-like spike with beautiful whispy
flowers that jiggle with the slightest air movement. I have yet to see
a photo that does this delicate thing justice...but I think our photo
will give you an idea of what to expect.
