 Tillandsia narthecoides
Let me start by saying that any photo you ever see of this plant in bloom will NOT do it justice! Iíve tried repeatedly to get a good one without success and I canít find much on the internet.

Visit for the best one Iíve found.

Next, imagine those white flowers having a wonderful fragrance, and realize that though there are only a couple open at a time, they continue to open over the course of weeks. These are easy to grow and bloom too (always a bonus). Weíve had them sitting in wire racks, mounted on wood and cork but they really thrive in a well draining potting soil in plastic pots. Just make sure you let the soil get quite dry between watering. They donít want too much light either (another bonus).
