Tillandsia ionantha ‘Druid' foliage that changes color when it blooms; this one turns peachy-colored.

 Tillandsia ionantha ‘Druid'
Native to Mexico and Guatemala. 'Druid' differs from a standard ionantha because of its color form: its leaves turn peachy-colored before it blooms, and three slender white flowers emerge from the center. It is a xeric or dry growing species, and benefits by bright light at least part of the day. It is considered one of the hardiest Tillandsias.
